What should I wear to my appointment? For body treatments/pedicures, we recommend that you wear loose‑fitting clothing that you don’t mind getting a little product on. For facial‑only visits, everyday clothing is fine - we’ll provide a cozy body wrap and slippers once you arrive.
-
Can I book multiple services on the same day?Absolutely! Many clients enjoy combining services like massages and facials, or creating a "self-care day" with multiple treatments. We'll work with you to create a customized schedule that feels relaxing and luxurious.
-
Will waxing make my hair grow back thicker or darker? No, that's a myth. In fact, with consistent waxing, hair often grows back finer, softer, and slower over time. You’ll also enjoy less irritation and fewer ingrown hairs compared to shaving.
-
What’s the difference between gel and regular polish?Regular Polish: • Air-dries naturally • Lasts about 3–7 days on hands • More likely to chip or smudge • Easily removed at home with regular polish remover • Great for quick colour changes Gel Polish: • Cured under a UV or LED light, instantly dry • Lasts up to 2–3 weeks without chipping (hands) or 3–4 weeks (toes) • Super glossy finish • Requires soaking or professional removal • Ideal for vacations, events, or low-maintenance wear

What Is dermaplaning?Dermaplaning is a non-invasive exfoliating treatment that gently removes dead skin cells and fine hair using a sterile surgical blade, revealing smoother, brighter skin. It also helps your skincare absorb better and your makeup glide on more evenly after treatment.
-
What’s the difference between a chemical peel and a facial?A facial is a relaxing treatment that provides an overall skin boost through cleansing, exfoliation, hydration, and soothing. A chemical peel, on the other hand, is a more intensive treatment that uses acids to deeply exfoliate and target specific concerns like acne, pigmentation, or fine lines. Some temporary peeling or flaking is possible afterward.
-
Do I need to remove my makeup before a facial? No worries—your aesthetician will perform a thorough double cleanse at the start of your facial treatment. That being said, arriving makeup‑free gives us more treatment time for advanced steps such as exfoliation, extractions, or LED.
-
I have sensitive skin—can I still get a facial?Don't worry, we've got you covered. We specialize in gentle, soothing facials tailored for reactive or sensitive skin. Just let us know about any known allergies or flare-up triggers during your consultation so we can customize your treatment to suit your skin type.
-
Am I able to purchase the products used during my treatment?Absolutely! Your service provider will note everything applied and can build a custom home‑care routine or e‑mail you a list of products used during service for future purchasing!
-
What is medical aesthetics?Medical aesthetics combine medical and aesthetic treatments to enhance appearance and address skin concerns.
-
What types of treatments do you offer? Our medical aesthetics services include Botox, fillers, chemical peels, laser treatments, microneedling, and IV drips. Click below to view our full medical aesthetics service menu.
-
Are your products Health Canada or FDA approved?Yes, all products and technologies we use are approved by Health Canada (or the FDA in the US) and supported by clinical evidence, ensuring the highest standards of safety.
-
Are your injectors medically trained?Yes, our injectables are administered by licensed nurses or physicians with specialized training in aesthetic medicine. Safe, natural-looking results and ongoing education and expertise are our top priorities.
-
Does Botox hurt? Most people find it very tolerable—it feels like a quick pinch or mosquito bite. We use fine needles and, if needed, we can apply numbing cream to ensure your comfort throughout the 30-minute procedure.
-
How long do Botox and fillers last?Botox: Typically lasts 3-4 months Fillers: Lasts 6-18 months, depending on the product and treatment area (e.g., lip fillers tend to fade faster, while cheek fillers can last longer) Regular touch-ups can help extend results and maintain a natural look.
-
Can I get Botox and filler at the same time?Yes, and it's often the best approach. Botox targets dynamic wrinkles caused by movement, while fillers restore volume and enhance contours. We'll create a personalized treatment plan tailored to your unique facial structure and goals.
-
How should I prepare for my appointment? To ensure the best experience, please: Avoid alcohol, ibuprofen, and fish oil 24-48 hours prior to reduce bruising. Arrive with clean skin—no makeup, SPF, or skincare on the treatment area. Eat a light meal and stay hydrated beforehand to feel your best during the appointment.
-
Am I too young for Botox? There's no one-size-fits-all answer. Preventive Botox is increasingly popular in the mid-to-late 20s to catch lines before they become permanent. If you're noticing lines that persist even when your face is relaxed, consider booking a consultation with us to explore your options and create a personalized plan.
-
What if I don’t like the results? We take a conservative, step-by-step approach to avoid overcorrection. If you’re ever unhappy with your treatment outcome, please let us know— we will work with you to tweak or adjust as needed. Hyaluronic acid fillers can also be safely dissolved.
-
Is PRP the same as microneedling? Not exactly. Microneedling can be done with or without PRP. PRP stands for Platelet-Rich Plasma, a treatment that uses your own blood platelets to stimulate collagen production, promote healing, and rejuvenate skin. Adding PRP to your microneedling treatment enhances healing and collagen production dramatically. It’s especially effective for acne scars, fine lines, and stretch marks.
-
Is PRP suitable for everyone?PRP might not be suitable if you're: Pregnant or breastfeeding Have blood disorders or clotting issues Taking blood thinners Experiencing active skin infections or severe autoimmune diseases We can discuss your suitability for PRP in a personalized consultation.
-
What are the benefits of IV therapy?Benefits vary depending on your drip formula, but clients often report: Boosted energy and focus Improved immunity Hydrated, radiant skin Quicker recovery from illness or travel Relief from hangover symptoms Reduced stress Improved sleep and mood stability
-
Can I eat or drink before my IV drip?Yes! We actually recommend having a light meal and being well-hydrated before your appointment to help prevent lightheadedness during your treatment.
-
How do I know what treatment I need? You don’t have to—we’ll guide you. Book a consultation with our experienced nurses and we'll work together to determine the most effective options tailored to your skin type, concerns, and budget.
-

-

-
Can I get permanent makeup if I'm pregnant or breastfeeding? No, it's recommended to avoid permanent makeup during pregnancy and breastfeeding due to hormonal changes and potential complications.
-
Does it hurt? Some discomfort may be experienced during the procedure, but a topical anesthetic cream can be applied to minimize pain.
-
How long does the procedure take?Procedure times vary depending on the service, but typically range from 1-3 hours.
-
How do I care for my permanent makeup after the procedure? You will be given post-care instructions at the end of your appointment, which typically includes avoiding water, makeup, and direct sunlight for several days.
-
How long before I can see the final results? The final results may take several weeks to develop, as the pigment will darken and then fade slightly. Your permanent makeup artist will discuss the healing process along with your aftercare instructions at the end of your appointment.
-
Will I need touch-ups?Touch-ups are typically needed every 2-5 years to maintain the desired colour and shape.
